Carol Jarvis is a much in-demand freelance trombonist, keyboard player, arranger, orchestrator and backing vocalist, who works in all fields of the profession.
She has toured and recorded extensively with stars such as Sting and Seal, but can also be found working with the likes of the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Orchestras, doing regular session work and performing in many of London’s West End shows.
Carol is a professor of trombone at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, and has given masterclasses in places such as Berklee College of Music in Boston, Rice University in Houston, Lucerne Conservatoire in Switzerland, University of California in Los Angeles, Mexico City University and Lima Conservatoire in Peru.
Her orchestrations have featured on albums at the top of the UK and US billboard charts, been recorded at the famous Capitol Studios in Hollywood and also played during The Oscars.
She is a Past-President of the British Trombone Society and is on the Board of Advisors of the International Trombone Association.
