Adam Wright - Trumpet
Sub Principal Trumpet of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Trumpeter of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and theLondon Chamber Orchestra, Adam is in great demand as a chamber and session player.
Adam Wright is Sub Principal Trumpet of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a position he has held since 2006, and Second Trumpet with the London Chamber Orchestra, with whom he played at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.
As well as these permanent positions Adam works with some of the UK's finest ensembles and session orchestras. Adam teaches regularly and has given classes at Trinity Laban, the Royal Academy of Music and RWCMD as well as various universities in the USA and Eurpoe.
An active member of the RPO's award winning Resound outreach programme, Adam studied at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a First Class Honours degree.
In 2007 he was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in recognition of his success within the profession. Adam plays on Stomvi ‘Titan’ Bb and C trumpets.
