Louisa Tuck - Cello
Principal Cello of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra
Since her appointment as Section Leader Cello at the Royal Northern Sinfonia in 2007, Louisa Tuck has established herself as one of the most gifted young chamber musicians and guest principal cellists of her generation.
Her many performances as a soloist include Haydn D major concerto, Britten Cello Symphony and a rarely performed CPE Bach concerto.
Recent musical collaborations include; Kathryn Tickell and the Side, The Nash Ensemble and as a regular guest principal with the RPO and Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Recorded as a soloist with NAXOS and Virgin Classics, Louisa has since recorded her first solo and chamber music disc with the Emanuel Ensemble for Champs Hill records.

In 2011 Louisa was honoured with an ARAM award for her work in the music profession. She plays on a rare Italian Cello dated 1752 made by Jacobus Cordanus.
